Leave a long beginning tail:

Eyebrow: insert needle in a random st near the eye, pull out needle 1 row above the eye, parallel the eye, parallel to the inner corner of the eye. Count 1 row down and 2 sts to the side, insert needle.
Mustache: Now pull out needle in the same st you used for the nose.
